So it is very serious In this video, I will share with you  some of the most powerful techniques,   remedies and tips that you use to  lower your blood sugars naturally, And also to keep them under control  permanently, by reversing insulin resistance. 1. Daily drink recipe:

  • 1 Daily Drink (2x) 2 Cups Water 500ml
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (Organic)
  • 1/2 Tsp Ceylon Cinnamon
  • 1 Squeeze Lemon Juice
Add these ingredients to a glass,   stir well and drink with a straw 2x  per day, 30 minutes before a meal. The acetic acid from vinegar helps to keep  your blood sugars under control when you eat,   by lowering the glycaemic effect  of your meal by up to 35%. The cinnamon and lemon is also very important,   as these help to support the beta cells in your  pancreas to produce more sensitive insulin, The hormone that takes the sugar out of your  blood, puts it into the cells and makes it safe.

2. Low carbohydrate foods:

#2 Low Carb Foods Eating foods that are lower  in processed carbohydrates   is essential if you want to get  your blood sugars under control. Foods like pizza, bread, cereal, flour, sugar,   biscuits, pastries are all  highly refined carbohydrates. These are high on the glycaemic index,  which raise your blood sugars quickly.

It's recommended to start switching these out for  more whole food sources such as a grass fed beef   steak, wild salmon, pasture raised eggs, leafy  green vegetables, extra virgin olive oil etc… Whole foods that have not been  processed contain more nutrients   that help your body to buffer the  sugars in your blood (glucose). They also help to control your appetite,  making you less likely to graze  and snack throughout the day.

3. Chromium picolinate supplement:

#3 Chromium Picolinate Take a daily supplement of Chromium  Picolinate (200-1000mcg per day). Chromium is a powerful trace mineral which  helps insulin and glucose (sugar) to become   more sensitive in the body, so that  it can be moved out of your blood. It also helps your liver to produce glutathione,   the master antioxidant which can  also help reverse prediabetes.

This lowers the risk of high blood  sugars causing damage to your arteries,   your nerves, your kidneys and your brain. You may begin noticing less cravings  for sugar when taking this supplement,   as your cells begin accepting  more fuel to make energy. 4. Timed eating (intermittent fasting):

#4 Timed Eating One of the main causes of high blood sugars   is a build-up of visceral fat around  the organs and fat inside the liver. This type of fat forms when you eat  little and often, graze or consume too   many processed carbohydrates or processed oils. In order to strip away this fat, you can  start timed eating (intermittent fasting). Write down on average what  you usually eat in a day,

and then eat the same foods but  in a shorter window of time, Ideally within an 8 hour window. Make sure that you only drink water outside of  this window for the remaining 16 hours of the day. When you fast, your liver starts to break down   stored fats in a process called  lipolysis which lowers insulin, And stabilises your blood sugars.

5. B-vitamin complex:

#5 B-Vitamins High blood sugars depletes B-vitamins in the body,   especially Vitamin B1 which leads to  nerve damage and insulin resistance. In order to reverse this situation,   it's important to start loading up on  B-vitamins from natural food sources. 2-3 tablespoons of unfortified nutritional yeast,  on a daily basis is an excellent way to do this.

You can also consume sunflower seeds,   organic pork, and shellfish (2x per  week) to help boost your B-vitamins. B-vitamins support the enzymes that  break down your food into energy,   helping your cells to become more  sensitive to glucose and insulin, To remove the extra sugar from your blood.

6. Physical activity & exercise:

#6 Physical Activity To lower your blood sugars, there is no  need to get an expensive gym membership. Start taking daily walks with friends,   participate in some sports or  bike to work rather than driving. It’s very important to increase  your physical activity,   as this will help to burn out  the extra glucose in your blood, Whilst helping to reverse insulin resistance,   and preventing prediabetes from  turning into type 2 diabetes.

7. Improving sleep:

#7 Improve Sleep Sleep is a vital component in  regulating normal blood sugar levels. If you aren't getting at least  7 hours of sleep per day,   your cortisol levels are likely to be high, A stress hormone that raises blood  sugars and causes you to feel stressed,   anxious with an overactive mind. Work on improving your sleep by turning  off all devices 1 hour before bed,   including all forms of light and  allowing yourself to lay still and relax. Give yourself time to really unwind before sleep. You can also use lavender essential  oil mists to stimulate melatonin,   take a tryptophan supplement or practise  deep breathing to improve your sleep. You can learn more about this in my sleep videos.

8. Cruciferous vegetables:

Eat at least 3 small handfuls of cruciferous  vegetables (raw) in a salad every day,   such as arugula, collard greens, kale,  broccoli, brussels sprouts and cabbage. These are packed full of phytonutrients   and essential minerals that  improve insulin sensitivity To control your blood sugars and also  improve the health of your liver. Those who have a fully functioning and healthy  liver, rarely have a blood sugar problem.
